A Flush to Remember
Every bathroom is unique…each comes with its own set of quirks. Just like every relationship…unique…
For instance, take our bathroom…there is a particular way you need close the tap in the sink…many turns to the left…2 turns to the right...one turn back and one LAST turn to the right! The flush in the same bathroom requires constant vigilance… its waiting to overflow! ...so the trick with the flush is to do your “business”, flush, then wait (I normally pass this time by clearing up the many books/magazines my husband leaves for me) and then you need to do a half flush…voila! I ALWAYS know when someone else has used my bathroom...ALWAYS!
A few weeks or so ago, our house was overflowing with family…a 70+ grandaunt who kept me on my toes by climbing up and down my staircase a million times each day, a 12 year old cousin who never seemed to run out of jokes that could make your skin crawl, a 13 year old teenager who amused herself by wearing Marky's ties around the house and who only knew to say "I'm bored", my sister who was helping run the circus and of course my brother who didn’t know where he was going to sleep each night! Anyway, for the week that they were here our bathroom was used A LOT! And of course that meant I constantly found myself having to go in a close the tap, stop the toilet running...etc etc. Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with having to have done that! The day after everyone left, I went into the bathroom in the morning and while brushing my teeth (that’s the story I'm sticking to) I started thinking about the whole bathroom 'stuff' I just described and here is what followed-
Our bathroom = Our relationship
Our 'bathroom' doesn’t work exactly the same as every one else bathrooms, although everybody does have a bathroom.
Only Marky and I TRULY know how to make our 'bathroom' work perfectly right! ... Everybody else thinks they do..but they REALLY don't!
Our 'bathroom' is ours only...and after extended times of having to share…its great to be alone again and find everything just as we left it.
Hahahaha… I'm suddenly able to picture a lot of ways to compare the two …but I don’t think they're appropriate so let me stop!
Look...Its Saturday...I'm at work and I'm bored!

One Baby Coming Up!
This September, Marcus and I will finally get to hold and kiss and BITE and cuddle our baby!whooo hoooo! How it is possible to love someone (who you haven't even really met) this much i will never understand! Maybe its because in many ways Marcus and i have been talking and dreaming for this miracle for so many years now.I wont get into all the crazy stunts now but in 2004 we really felt led to do somethingin faith for our future family...So we went and chose a book each(one for our son and one for our daughter) and wrote a small note in it for them. I unpacked those books yesterday and i was just overwhelmed! I know that God started something beautiful in both of us that year...we were so far away from marriage...even further away from children...but he knew then what we know now :) that we'd get there eventually!sooo worth the wait.
OK! The BIG question; Boy or Girl? Just so you know, i feel that its a boy...Marcus and most of my family feel its going to be a girl! So...What do you think? Are we going to have a baby girl or a baby boy? Vote using the 'poll thingy' on my blog! and let me know why you think what you think!
Baby Durai...We love you..always have!

Lets Start At The Very Beginning...
So why have I decided to give this a shot?
I serve a GREAT God...very BLOGSWORTHY!
My life is overflowing with blessings - A wonderful marriage to my college sweetheart, we're going to be parents in Sept, a loving family, unbelievable friendships, a great church, and I could just go on... "Always Overflowing"
In the coming posts I hope to share about the people and things that are close to my heart. These days I find my heart being 'moved' a LOT...I guess that's a good thing..maybe its coz i'm pregnant and the hormones are going wild!!!
I make no promises on how long this blog will stay alive...let's just take it one day at a time!
